Welcome to the Compliance for Charity blog!
If you are only mildly affected by the pandemic – congratulations! If you do not suffer from its effects on society, business, and private life – bravo! Then you are probably blessed to live in a great country, and work in a blooming vertical, maybe in Software, and possibly in Compliance.
But there are so many people around the world that are struggling today, and there are so many initiatives and charities that really make a difference for these people, so how do we help?
The Compliance for Charity blog is an initiative by FossID and the promise of the blog is the idea of sharing knowledge about open source compliance while supporting charity. If you are an open source practitioner we invite you to share content about open source compliance, open source security, Software Composition Analysis (SCA), tools and tool chains, etc., and for each approved blog post FossID will sponsor USD 500 to a charity chosen by the blog post contributor.
Accepted blog posts are at the discretion of the curation team managing this effort. Publishing dates are dependent on availability in the publishing calendar and resources available at the time.
We aim to keep the open source spirit in the Compliance for Charity blog and depending on the interest more companies and enthusiasts could help curate content and help sponsor things.
Do you have an idea for a topic and want to support a charity of your choice, then fill in the Call for Submit a post form!
Do you want to help curate the blog or join as a sponsor, send us a message through the Contact form!
